@fglukhov
They don´t close for me except I use Exit from the menu on Vivaldi 6.0.2979.22.
I can open several workspaces as windows and close them one after another with using X, right top.
You can report this for sure, the developer test this and if one can reproduce your issue/bug they can fix it.
For information on how to report a bug, see this URL: https://vvld.in/how-to-report-bugs
Once that is done, please share the bug number (beginning with VB-). Thanks.
On the form, you can add your email address. Once submitted, you'll get a confirmation. You can reply to this with any logs or further info.
Cheers, mib
@jpaulbiss said in Move speed dial Bookmarked page with bookmark page:
I am browsing a page which is in a folder and decide that it would fit better in an existing sub folder. Would it be possible from the bookmark page Icon to have an option where it is possible to move the existing page to a different location.
If you open a bookmarked page, can be moved from the icon 😕

@Pesala the problem is: right now there not possible to focus whole group, at least i haven't found the way to. If i use "focus on tab panel" i can only tab through tabs in current group.
@DoctorG just wanted to help, cause missing order is a big problem. maybe people can use external startmenus in other OS's too. in my opinion profiles (and e.g. extensions) should find a place in panel on left side, that is searchable like tabs and can be reordered. cheers!
@XLN Broken themeing in Vivaldi 6.0.2979.22, does not witch to dark Breeze on my Debian 11.
I enabled GTK in Vivaldi chrome settings page, the context menues are dark now, but Vivaldi is light theme, blinding my poor eyes.
I have to set the Vivaldi theme to Dark manually.
Same on 6.1.3035.3 😕
@XLN said in Flatpak support:
I completely understand Vivaldi's concerns with releasing an official Flatpak package, and I thank them for clarifying.
Since an official flatpak is not viable at this time, would it be possible for the Vivaldi team to share how they got their internal test flatpak to work? So then someone from the community could easily make an unofficial zypak based flatpak which is not ideal but still a big improvement.
i Agree.
Android needs it too.
It's 2023 and tab abuse just gets worse and worse year after year as each successive generation of web designers is told that using target="_blank" is always the best thing to do. It ruins Vivaldi's advanced tab management features, it ruins web panels, and addons can't seem to keep tab abuse under control any more.
Not to be rude, but if another browser implemented this feature I'd drop Vivaldi in a heartbeat. Tab management has gotten that painful, and the overwhelming majority of my tabs were spawned without any intent on my part.
@Neras
hi!:)
I only use keyboard most of control on vivaldi without mouse! About tabs too!
So, I want it implemet this request!
I usually press alt + u and appkey when exec current tab context menu.
"alt +u" is assigned "focus tabs" command.
And appkey is only Windows used context menu.(I don't know how do that on Mac)
This is altnative.
I also think that it makes sense for the tab that has created the alert to be brought back into focus.
Just a reminder that with workspaces, where the tab may not even be visible, this may also imply a change of workspace.
On the other hand, I'd find it rather annoying to be typing on a form somewhere and have the tab (and maybe even workspace) changed because of some random alert on another page and then have to find my way back to where I was typing in the first place...
If this is ever implemented, I hope it comes with a switch to disable this behavior, because I can see it going wrong or being the source of complaint for a lot of people...
@d2warren The original post of @Hadden89 was also setting the emoji with the CSS, but once you hide the bookmark folder icon with CSS, you only need to put the emoji at the beginning of the bookmark folder title to achieve the same result.
It is just easier to set the emoji that way.
