By any chance, do you know if one can alter the dev tools' window size with a custom extension (or a Vivaldi script mod placed in browser's HTML)? Or maybe catch the (undocked) dev tools opening event in any way?
If possible, I'd try to develop a workaround because this really kills my workflow by now.
The only time I move a tab to another window is to move one tab from a window on my primary monitor to a window on my secondary monitor. The keyboard shortcut cannot do this. The tab context menu already allows one to move all selected tabs to a chosen window.
IMHO keyboard command is must faster than context menu, thus I prefer select a bunch of tabs > execute keyboard shortcut > done!
If the command did move all selected tabs to one new window that might be an improvement
That's what my request intended, as it doesn't conflict with moving only one tab to a new window. It's better than adding yet another keyboard command for moving multiple tabs.
but then someone might want to move each selected tab to a separate new window.
What's the use case for such command? Even if someone need this, it would be very rare indeed. Honestly I can't imagine why someone want to move 10 tabs into 10 separate windows... That's kinda overkill. If you want to do so with 2 or 3 tabs, then it's pretty easy to repeat it with keyboard command.
@hyfrehyfre The original menu is for tabs, so it wouldn't be possible to just "move" it to the context menu. It would be possible to do this via a mod or an extension, I suspect, if you want to ask someone in those sub-forums to help.
@padu The message does not apply to feature requests, but is a generic message to reduce necro-posting. If I remember rightly it shows up if a thread has had no replies for more than six months. Extending that to a year would not help. Some feature requests are more than two years old already.
