I love the innovative features your browser offers, and I have an idea for something that could make it even more powerful for users.

Feature Idea: A "Screen Lock/Freeze" option that allows users to lock their view on a specific part of a webpage.

When enabled, this feature would prevent the page from scrolling or shifting even if the mouse moves or the keyboard is used.

If the page is reloaded or set to periodic reload, the browser would retain focus on the locked area of the webpage, ensuring continuity without needing manual adjustments.
This would be especially useful for users who need to monitor specific sections of dynamic or auto-updating websites without losing focus.

Additionally with Tiled Tabs:
This feature should also work independently for each tile when tabs are tiled, allowing users to lock specific areas across multiple websites simultaneously.
Even with reloading in tiled tabs, the frozen sections would remain consistent.

Thanks for the tip, but I'm a mouse person. Using the keyboard requires more steps than simply hovering the mouse over.

Hmmm looks like I managed to make it "work" just as presented by Pawel.
The problem is when I switch to tabs in separate Workspaces using anything else than the Command Chains.

When using Command Chains, the themes apply as expected.

But obviously, the theme does not switch when:

Using Cmd+E->select tab/workspace Selecting a tab using the Windows Panel Using the default Workspace switcher

In any of these circumstances, the behaviour gets messy and therefore unusable as it defeats its purpose.

Therefore, can we please keep this thread open in order to make it a feature request to have a native setting for Workspace Themes?

I have same concern, but want to go further requesting not only go to previous workspace in recent order, but also tabs. The current shortcut for going back to recent tab doesn't work across workspaces, it just breaks the chain of thought when you jumping between the workspaces.

With this extension, duplicates simply do not occur.

@barbudo2005 yes, I was responding to the "There does not seem to be an option to move a tab to the top or bottom though." statement.

@alpercugun Not everything needs to be in settings, but options are helpful since people have different workflows and different opinions about what the correct behaviour should be.

The team change the title of the workspace:

They add the number of the tabs in the title, so you have to add an "*" after the word "title" in the code:

PS:

title*= "YT" means that the title contains the text "YT".

@RammsteinAM I don’t use workspaces much, but I have a default window and one workspace, which is my default set of tabs. I often run into the same issue.

I think the problem would be solved better with an option in settings; because once one has chosen an icon for a workspace there is rarely any need to change it. One could even do it from the Rename Workspace option on the context menu, without adding another menu item.

@simpleknight I've got the same problem on Windows 10 Vivaldi.
Workspaces should not have been introduced without saving them.

I'd like this too.

Similarly when right-clicking a tab within a workspace, there should be a way to move it to the default workspace (the "non"-workspace).
