hi once again, the issue has been resolved after a reinstall, the option now shows up next to the "remove cookie warnings" option, not sure what caused it but i appreciate your assistance, thank you!
@frkylmz420 That's not exactly what I meant, but hey if it works for you... 🙂
I suspect you had some setting earlier, maybe in the Global profile that caused the blur.
@kosmonaut said in DuckDuckGo Mystery:
No, JS is enabled.
Whoops that's not true. JS was enabled for html.duckduckgo.com/html but for DuckDuckGo.com it was blocked! Clearing that solved the problem. Thank you again!
@wf7 Great! 👍
What use is the "Crypto Token" option?
It's used for signing in to Google services - without it you won't be able to log in. You don't actually need it for the web store, it was just in case. If you don't have a G account, don't worry about it (and good on you) 😉
@Gwen-Dragon Thanks for the tip.
I was using outdated information from a text file. When I checked my accounts in Opera, it was using IMAP, with ports 993 and 587. Now it works, but the port has changed to 465.
After much searching I found the culprit. For some reason the cookies settings were set to "session only". I have no memory of changing it but it happened at the same time as I upgraded my system to Big Sur so it never occured to me that a setting would have changed in vivaldi. Anywho.. if anyone else has this irritating problem, this is the settings.. Screenshot 2020-12-03 at 11.04.43.png
