Navigating pages for built-in tools outside the panel, like — history, email (maybe it's already fixed, wasn't looking back to mail after that experience), is a huge mess. You need to press TAB more than once, to get to the actual content. Where the content of those pages should be active at the beginning.
In notes, when you have a note maximized, close, and open notes again, you are greeted with a message — "Add new note"... and nothing more. Where it should stay on last opened note or at least open a maximized list. Escape key should go back to the notes list and, when maximized, to the maximized list.
Also, the downloads popup does not hide on the second shortcut press, while the workspace popup does.
Moreover, it freaks me out every time, when I change tab back to already opened settings, it focuses the search box again and again... I use single key shortcuts, and when I change tab with that single press and want to go further, it types into that search field. Which of course changes the part of the actual setting I wanted to stay open at. Why not merge "Find in page" shortcut with the search box in setting, stays in mystery.
Yes, and that mess with page focus after usage of a panel mentioned by @Pathduck , also got me cringed to the point, to not use panels at all. Overall, I was enjoying panels only at start, when you use an autotiling window manager, all those panels do not make sense anymore.
Would be great to have an option to open a separate tab/window, instead of a window panel. But that is, in some sort, manageable with custom shell scripts and "Vivaldi --remote-debugging-port=9222". Managing tabs/windows with keys anyway is not great in the window panel.
