@LordLorio Private tabs must lose their data when the browser crashes - the whole point is they don't store data anywhere.

Maybe you could consider setting up a separate profile, that way you can keep your sensitive tabs away from your main tabs, and you could create a second sync account.

I've been using that, but having to open up a tab is more disruptive than a menu. Additionally, there is no way to view and reopen recently closed tabs/windows specifically.

@SantaOrlando I'm sure 8've said this before, probably in the oldest thread on the topic, but this was one of my favorite (and almost trivial to do) customization I had in old Opera. I changed the shortcut assigned to Button4 (the Back button on Navigator mice) to Back ! Close tab and if Back failed it would instead close the tab. Might be possible with javascript - not certain if code execution continues if history,back fails.

@Sprbr Here, it already seems to be persistent, but not after restarting Vivaldi.

I cannot say enough about how impressively Vivaldi Snyc has grown from the inception of Sync on Vivaldi- in general it works very well for moving between machines if needed, and I find that it is mostly because of the Synced Tabs heading in the WindowsMyMilestoneCard Panel.

@josephj11 I haven't looked at that; my guess is that every time you visit a bookmarked site, the last visited date gets updated (there is a field for that in the file, for each bookmark entry), and the data is stored to disk.

I use list but it depends what is recent for you. 🙂
If you know the name it's maybe faster to type in the address bar with this settings.

I am not against your request but I guess it is hard to implement, the developer would have to split history for panel and all other views.

@ChimeraLove that's a good idea I'm up voting this. Bookmarks in Vivaldi for Android are a nightmare anyway so far.

Not only notes, but allso for other... ,sesioon tab saved, calendar, task etc .( all vivaldi data ). so anybody can save,update and load their file from different machine.. easily

I am sorry, you are correct.
This was an issue for the bookmark file for 10000+ bookmarks.
I guess 50% are outdated but 10000 URL's should not be a 1 GB file. 🙂
