Of course. I rather have Right Click > Mute tab. As usually clicking a tab for sitching to it, lands the click involuntary over the mute button. Specially with a lot of tabs open.

Thanks, however, I don't get it. If that is a css modification , then the right approach is to enable css styling in experiments and then creating a custom folder with this content saved as .css in that folder. That does not work. Maybe this is a javascript code as the tutorial mention ? Should I use the modify window.html method and save the content as custom.js and place it alongside window.html?

Edit: it worked. A browser restart wasn't enought but calling chrome://vivaldi-data/css-mods/css made it work instantly
Edit2: Ok, sometimes is there; sometimes it is not. I can not tell exactly what triggers it. Maybe it returns after tab lost focus for several minutes idk. At least now I'm more alert and can spot it in advance.

Hi, it should take only a few seconds to update sync between devices.
If the Android device is running Vivaldi and you open a new tab on desktop the history is updated.

The organisation allows work related apps to be self-installed under certain path and from this path I could run Vivaldi updates also.
For me Vivaldi is work-related app (sort of) so I assume it is okay to keep, but still would like to solve this update issue. Thanks for warning though!

To add additional order to such ordered lists consider prefixing with superscript ¹, ², or ³; press right-hand Alt + 1, Alt + 2, Alt + 3 to enter corresponding superscript character. For example, Note 4:

Hi, I cant reproduce this on Windows 11, Vivaldi 7.3.3635.11.
Maybe it is a GPU/Driver/Vivaldi issue.
Try to disbale Hardware Acceleration in Settings > Webpages, restart Vivaldi.

In the mean time I have also experienced this issue on a Windows 11 PC.

My three-finger gestures were being ignored in Vivaldi but worked fine for Firefox.

Below is what fixed it for me. Try this.

locate the Vivaldi.exe shortcut > Right Click > select Properties

Target field should look something like this:
C:\Users...\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe

add to end of Target field so it looks like :
C:\Users...\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\Application\vivaldi.exe --disable-gpu-driver-bug-workarounds

Once done, use the shortcut if desired for:

Pin to taskbar Pin to start

Vivaldi is not Chromium, I just want to mention an extension work in Chrome, Brave or Chromium can cause issues in Vivaldi.
So check if this is the culprit with editing your desktop shortcut and add --disable-extensions, then you will know.
This keep extensions from loading.

I have tried to replicate your problem, and saw some switching between tabs. I had more than two tabs open, and playing around dragging two of them to the bookmarks panel, at one time it activated a third tab - which I think was the previous active one. So my impression is what @mib2berlin writes could be the reason. If so, it should be visible independent of the amount of bookmarks.

This implies Feeds are not enabled in Settings > Mail. If that is not the case try disabling and enabling to see if that inproves the situation.

Middle-click Scrolling was always working on Windows but not on Linux. I never used any extensions to enable it.

It's now possible to enable it on Linux too:

--enable-blink-features=MiddleClickAutoscroll

Hello. In the current version, DNS settings have become unavailable—we are awaiting an update. Additionally, the mechanism for choosing between IPv4 and IPv6 transport is unclear. The Windows operating system lacks a full-fledged CLAT implementation, which causes issues on IPv6-only networks for certain websites. Can this be resolved within Vivaldi itself?
