@luetage That works perfectly! I wish there were official methods that didn't use the CSS modifications, but I'm glad that it's possible at all. Thanks.

While this would be nice, it is my experience that some web servers don't always report the size of a download before starting. That can confuse even the default download manager of a browser.
I agree, some web servers don't always report the size of a download, but many give this information and it very conveniently.
@auipga If you follow the blog for snapshots, you will get a blog post explaining all new features whenever they are available for testing. If this feature is ever implemented, the same will happen.
I wanted to bump this and add it to the mobile app as well.
Saying to ask the site is in my opinion telling the user to pound sand.
for ex, Samsung will gladly ignore your request. Google will gladly ignore your request. Supporting more browsers that compete against yours is for them, bad business.
In my opinion this is an essential feature to a competitive market that will kill your browser in this way.

Opens Downloads tab via single button click. For all the glory that is Vivaldi, I hate that damn side panel ❤
The links panel/window is the one item from Opera 12.18 I'm really missing in Vivaldi, too.
I tried the suggested extension above and others (best I could find is Linkgrabber), but they all don't compare to the ease and functionality to the 12.18 feature.
So I really hope you bring it back in Vivaldi, too.
There's a chrome extension that will change chrome/vivaldi to automatically try to open any file (rather than download), with support for your own defined exceptions.

The only extension to add DANE/TLS support has ended development

I have been asking for this code to be integrated into the browser for several years, as it;
a) would avoid the problems the extension developers faced
b) make Vivaldi a world leader in secure authenticated browsing
However as votes are what get features added, not importance, don't expect to see this ability until the choice is taken away and it is forced on all browsers.
