Workspaces on mobile
-
Hello, I have just tested the experimental functionality "Workspaces" on Desktop version (vivaldi://experiments/).
Are Workspaces planned for the mobile version of Vivaldi?
If no, would be very interesting.Thank you for reading

I'm also in favor. I would use it and welcome it not only on the phone but also on the tablet, which I use as the main tool for private and work sites.

This is the reason why I haven't migrated from Safari to Vivaldi. Workspaces on Safari sync flawlessly and instantly between the desktop and iPhone / iPad.

Hi, some user read the request but don´t vote for it, vote for it if you like the request. -
Well, really I didn’t use the workspace because only recently I installed Vivaldi on IOS but, now, I see some potential. Then as soon as I can, I would like to install e-mail, calendar in all the integrated Vivaldi app (desktop, phone, tablet). Apologize if workspaces can be already used on iPhone because I don’t know how yet.

Any updates? Are we getting workspaces in Mobile?

How would use workspaces on mobile? Seamless sync from desktop? Or have the habit of managing tabs on mobile?
-
I setup Vivaldi account and installed on my Android just to benefit from the Workspaces but found out it's not available. Very disappointed.

@linbaichun I think that it would be best to have the option to seamlessly sync from the desktop but just a checkbox. I have several workspaces and many, many tabs in each. I'd probably break my phone if enabled.
I think just having the ability to have workspaces in mobile to manage tabs just like in the desktop would be great. Maybe later on, there could be an option to right click on a tab in the desktop to add it to be synched between mobile & desktop. This would allow limited synching without bringing over the entire circus.
-
A much-needed feature, I have workspaces on several devices, unfortunately when viewing open pages on other devices I get the message "300 tabs open" without a breakdown by workspaces or groups. Sometimes it is looking for a needle in a haystack.

I like Vivaldi, but i miss "workspaces" feature on mobile device (but have it on desktop). I maked concept how workspace may be looks on android device.
App bar have select list workspaces. In main screen If user switch on workspace then on tab icon show mini icon and show title workspace.
Make it please

I'd love to see this feature on mobile as well. Please, bring it to mobile
-
You need to implement this @Vivaldi. I use it heavily on pc. One or more WS for traveling, hockey, business, stocks and so on. Currently my UI is flooded with tabs and tab groups
-
i would not say this is a nice to have, for users using workspaces, the mobile app is unusable without first level support! this is the main blocker to move from safari to vivaldi mobile.
-
I will not use Vivaldi until it has worspaces
-
Workspaces really do have potential. To keep things simple, whatever you have on desktop should ideally be importable in mobile. That means same structure of workspaces because right now in mobile, when importing, you would have your device list and on the next level of each would be the tabs in one continuous stream. It would be quite a challenge to determine the scope of a workspace if numerous tabs are involved.
I really hope this feature will be in future updates.

Can we please have workspace? The ability to continue seamlessly between mobile and desktop is very important and useful. Can the team please get us this feature?
-
I’d really want to see workspaces on mobile (especially tablets). It is obviously a better way to keep things organized.
Can we get a response from the product team on where this request sits in list of their priorities? Transparency is really helping with trust from the users.
