@daniel Any news on this? Just received a forwarded e-mail and logically I wasn't one of the attendees. I did add the invite to the calendar and I think I should have that option but the RSVP shows and should be hidden like your one post says.

@michaa7 While recognising that Calendar is very much a work-in-progress, I can confirm that start time is not displayed along with Title if an event ends on a later date than it starts.

There is also a separate concern regarding display of end-date in multi-day events which aren't 'All Day' events. If confirmed, this would appear to merit a separate bug report.

Agenda and Day views display '(day n/m)' for multi-day events and hover-over pop-up in any view displays start date/time but only end-time: the end-date is omitted so, although visually represented in most views, it isn't directly specified - and that omission is most apparent in Day view and Year view.

I note that events blocking All Day periods do specify the end-date in every on-hover pop-up.

@dheffer tasks yes (because tasks are a subset of calendar events), contacts no because Vivaldi does not yet properly support contacts. Here's the corresponding feature wish: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/53314/contacts-carddav-sync

I just checked the logs and nothing is printed here on any log level, probably only sync process logs are shown here...
I don't know why I get the single event popup and not the one for repeating events, but that is probably why the save can't be processed.

Still struggling with shared calendars. I have a calendar, shared to my google account calendar from another person's google account. I have added it to Vivaldi, and it shows up on the pull down list and it is ticked. However, none of the appointments from this calendar are showing.

@jpirie I've confirmed the report in the internal tracking system. I can't say how long it will take for a fix to arrive.

The CalDAV account was imported. So I'm happy.

@mib2berlin Tested only my gmail personal account. Created event on google calendar side and then deleted said event on vivaldi client side. It all worked fine since I could delete the event on vivaldi's side and the end result was no event on google calendar.

@pattarachart Unfortunately there is not much that can be done about this issue on our end. Not within our constrains for resources at least. This is a decision by apple to move away from the open calendar standards.

Sorry I can not offer a solution to this.

Added events still duplicate when refreshing calendar. After all those updates. Crying shame.

If you still have the calendar data you can also send it to me via some file sending service, like wetransfer or sendbig. I have an email address [my username around here] at vivaldi.com. That way you don't have to go to the hassle of creating a ticket in our bug tracker.
