    I can not reproduce it with 6.8.3381.46 Win1. No duplicates on Google Tasks. Please, can you give precise steps how i can reproducte this?

    @WildEnte As i know Digest Auth gives not more security against authentication attacks. I do not know why some very rare server hosters do such.

    @moodyriffi My guess is you didn't input an app-specific password. In case you don't know how to get one, you can learn how to do that here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/102654 In any case, you didn't have to follow that old guide; Vivaldi has been able to auto detect the iCloud calendar CalDAV link on its own since version 6.5. [image: 1716572385622-screenshot-2024-05-24-at-19.34.45.png] For anyone in the future that stumbles into this thread, you're better off following the instructions from this help page: https://help.vivaldi.com/calendar/calendar-get-started/add-and-manage-calendar-accounts/#iCloud_calendar

    @belenus I have just tried it successfully with a vacation calendar in *.ics format in a new test calendar in webmail.vivaldi.net. The question arises whether it is perhaps a corrupt file in your case.

    After a year of this pissing me right off I've finally fixed it: I opened the "Login Data" file in the profile folder in an SQL Lite editor, searched for any entries containing my NextCloud URL in the logins table and deleted them all. Started Vivaldi, entered my password, and now it saves it. Hurrah!

    I assume this has to do with a regression from 6.6 which caused us not to save the url that the server returned for calendar items. We attempted to fix it by generating the url locally, but it might not work with this particular server. It's just a theory though and I might be totally wrong.

    The same event that was doubled is now doubled again. After Vivaldi update I deleted the first of the 2 entries. However, they are here again.

I can test two calendars later. Cheers, mib EDIT: Add a event to a Google and a vivaldi.net calendar at the same time shows two notifications in the the Windows notification system. I can confirm this now , though in my case this is the first time I see them and they are displayed one after the other one. Sincerely, I don't know if this is how it should be. However, they are surely Windows notifications.

    So I got an e-amail this was fixed but unfortunately it was not. Moving an event seems to create a universal notification a day in advance but my settings to notify by e-mail is not preserved, so I filled a new bug: VB-104863.

    "Most popular calendar apps allow you to generate a shareable link you can add to Proton Calendar. To subscribe to an external calendar, the owner of the calendar must share this link with you or make it public." - so it is currently impossible to add/share Vivaldi's calendar to Proton one?
