after disabling all extension like Metamask, Keplr, Google Tranlsate and The Marvellous Suspender(TMS) and restarted the browser tabs can be closed easily.
And then I completely removed TMS and did not assign shortcut. Now issue solved.
My opinion is about assigned shortcut or tab snoozing feature of TMS. Reinstalled it and no tab closing problem now.
May help other ones.

I am sorry, then I am out of ideas for now.
I hope another user with a Debian based distro can help here further.
Cheers, mib
Thanks mib, greatly appreciated!
@mib2berlin
that didn't do anything, but i can see that this is an ongoing issue with people over there as well. will keep a check on thread. thank you
@secant
Most of the problems are from the User side.
The Bugs are affecting mostly many people, very few affect individually but in those cases, the users run different websites or things, Extensions, settings...
Your problem has no other reports, at least no one reported them.
If you want to keep using V, you will need to learn on how to test by your self in front of any problem/Bug.
Without that,
Any report will not be correctly addressed and will not be reproduced by any user so can't be fixed since it's User's Profile specific issue.
So,
Here are the Official steps
https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/troubleshoot/troubleshooting-issues/
If the Profile is somehow broken, an update(s) will not fix it.
@john92 Seems to be a interaction between Vivaldi and GPU.

@secant said in slow startup on single core, question about profiles vs. sessions:
Hello. I have a profile with lots of tabs (lazy loaded) and lots of history, but starting that profile takes very long ( like minutes). It's not a question of performance. The main thing i notice is it uses only a single core of 12 at 100%. Is there any way to change this, and let it use all cores?
Hi,
Check about this too when trying the Clean Profile about the other issue.
Some Topics get burried sometimes, if that happens again, do an Up Post in case no answers in some weeks.
Another general question about profiles. Maintaining settings of all profiles is really annoying. Mostly i use the exact same settings, with only very few differences if any between profiles. So changing one setting then has to be done on all profiles, which i mostly forget to do.. Is there a way to sync settings between profiles?
For that,
You'll need to keep doing it manually, either from Vivaldi itself or editing the internal files.
Preferences + Local State | JSONEdit from Tomeko
WebData | SQLiteStudio or any other editor
Or is there some 3rd party solutions for better session management instead? I'd prefer having different sessions under a single profile, but it doesn't work because opened tabs in a session are not saved, unless i do it manually. Opening a saved session again just goes back to the tabs when they were saved.
regards, mike
For that there's an Extension, Session Buddy, it worked fine, I guess now too.

Hi, Wayland is not supported but as I read in the report @DoctorG linked, this was fixed by the Chromium developer 26 days ago.
So it will be included in one of the next Vivaldi versions.
Cheers, mib
@smorozov13 That solution is for AMD I think. Anyway, videos on all websites stutter in my case too, but only after the browser has been open for a long while, maybe it’s connected to sleep, not sure, can’t reproduce it reliably. A restart fixes it. And I don’t even think it’s locked with videos, animations can stutter too then. Probably a different issue to yours.

Hi, if the folder Mobile bookmarks is empty it disappear on desktop. If you use it on you mobile device move it like @edwardp mention. Iirc you cant delete the folder, even on the mobile device.
