@code3 There is. But it's not a formal code. It's a list of advices from the community admins/managers. Plus, it's subject to revision by consensus between mods and admins, if something doesn't seem to be working well.

@catweazle said in Minor update (3) for Vivaldi Desktop Browser 4.0:
@deneban , you can see the version number in Help>About, same as in most other soft.
"Heading" refers to this page's heading, not the software.
@code3 Yes. There is some room for improvement, and already a number of requests on this topic.

Would there be any possibility of being able to have in the calendar, authentication for the google calendar user / pass as in the mail? (apart from the current oauth2).
Basically, so as not to have the google session open in the pages that are visited, because although this session can be closed, if the browser is closed, the calendar asks again for oauth2 authentication.

@mike999 yes all that stuff needs to be known. We just need to distinguish "this is by design" (and will not change fundamentally) from "this is not implemented yet or a known issue" (just wait) from "this is an issue that someone should look at.
Contacts import: not implemented yet
For every problem you face please search the forum a bit if someone ran into it as well but if you think that is not the case, please create a new thread for the issue.
It doesn't help to write a long document and send it to someone, as there is no someone whose job it is to deal with that.
@barbudo2005 Fair enough. We have two completely different experiences of using custom cursors in Windows. I'd be curious to find out if the difference is related to specific cursors, or perhaps the location the cursors are stored. It's not something I care strongly about though.
@dragonfrend Really strange for such a good new card, and that it seems to work on Firefox/Chrome...
Maybe there are some special flags you can set to avoid it happening in Vivaldi, but I really don't know.
@mortaiyan said in Is there a way to confirm closing TABS (not single window)?:
but I guess even basic things can be easily overlooked when developing a program
They were not necessarily overlooked. In my first reply I presented a few reasons why it might not be a good setting in the first place...
According to this article, the version of MacOS I am running does not even support logging into websites with Apple ID, and the process is supposed to look very different than what happened to me:
