@lavanyadeepak I don't think it is a bug. Refreshing the thumbnail preview every time a tab changes to another URL would take a lot of CPU cycles.

@Dam3 Just how it works I guess. Probably because import from Chromium browsers uses the same code.

Usually when importing bookmarks one would arrange them afterwards, so what the folder is called is pretty much irrelevant. Unless one actually wants to have a folder named "Imported from X" forever 😂

I released an updated version today that includes import/export capabilities. Now you can export your settings from a profile on machine A and import them into one or more profiles on machines B, C, etc.

Also, if you already maintain your dotfiles in github, you can now include an exported Preferences file in your repository and easily check that out on new machines, etc. Once the Preferences file is on your new system, importing it is as easy as:

vsp -i /path/to/Preferences.json

I got a little carried away with this version, so it won't surprise me if there's a bug or two I missed. Still, the chances of permanent borkage are extremely low since it doesn't change much outside of ~/.config/vivaldi/<profile dir>/Preferences.

Yep, this was reported some weeks ago after Ubuntu user get updates.
I clean the caches and all fine now, was to lazy to try it. 🙂

@mib3berlin No update on Tumbleweed yet but I guess it's being worked on. Checked out your link and took their advice to delete the GPUcache contents...Vivaldi still working well. I'll re-institute hardware acceleration once the updates come through.

One strange thing - when Vivaldi was crippled I installed Microsoft Edge, mainly to check whether it was affected...and it wasn't. I'll probably dump it in a day or two.

I disabled the Vivaldi blocker and the panoramas started working! Thanks for the tip!
