You can uncheck this options in settings (for example right click anywhere in the speed dial and select Customize, you'll go in settings/start page)

@jubr In Settings, Panels, one can set all panels to floating. To change the setting for individual panels, one has to use the context menu on the panel icon.
Now that Panels are part of Editable Toolbars, you can mix your Panels and Web Panels, as well as move the buttons to other toolbars and bring buttons from other toolbars to the Panel bar.
@Pesala@MoosMas That works exactly as it should. Great suggestion! I wonder if this functionality could be added to the tab stack context menu? That's where I went when looking to do the same thing.
Hey! After updating to Vivaldi 5.6, you can now go to Settings > General > Menu Settings, choose from 2 presets or put together your own custom layout for the menu bar in the main menu. Just drag and drop your favorite features to the top five positions on custom layout the list.
