In order to achieve this, you can simply press F4 (Default for Panel shortcut in the settings) while in fullscreen mode, and the side panel will pop up 🙂
But I agree it would indeed be a good feature to be able to configure this default behavior somewhere in the options.
Please consider adding a feature or setting option, let users choose whether resize or not.
As for me, I think it is a little ugly to resize the panel, especially in the absence of resize animation. The current solution is somewhat crude, in my opinion.
@hadden89 I guess the way to find out is to try the extension. It looks OK on my portrait monitor with tiled tabs, but there are issues with the control bar popup as clicking anywhere on the control bar just stops and starts playback.
This is just wrong. No option is required; "Exit full screen" should be removed from the menu.
It duplicates the command Fullscreen (F11)
It is mispelt
The shortcut F11 is not displayed.
(VB-48446) Exit full screen should not be on the context menu in Fullscreen
Something discovered on /r/vivaldi:
You can get fullscreen mode with all the UI elements enabled in full:
Press F11 (fullscreen)
Press Ctrl+F11 (Hide UI)
This seems like buggy behaviour, but honestly, this seems to be a solution to what many people above were asking for.
