FYI, a Vivaldi 3.7 (Stable) update has also been released with this fix: https://vivaldi.com/blog/desktop/minor-update-for-vivaldi-desktop-browser-3-7/
[macOS][Media] Many short videos on Twitter and other services are corrupted (VB-76282)
@tylerntd Please open vivaldi://components , have look at Widevine section on bottom of the page and press Update button. Now tell me the version you see.

It's the Amazon issue, not Vivaldi.
Searching before posting is very practical and recommended.
Sorry for all the inconvenience caused.
Had same problem, couldn't figure out.... Deleted cookies ("Lock" icon to the left of urlfield) - voilá!
(Reason #2: ...seemed that Amazon Prime was having some sort of bad morning also as it was doing the same on all my browsers... (?)
Yes, tested now on Windows 10 and max. stream rate is 6.84 GB /hour with Edge and 1.17 GB /hour with Vivaldi. As far as I know Vivaldi has to pay per user/installation if they want to support HD/4K.
I guess it is not possible at moment if ever. weeping
@rdreammaker Thanks a mil for sharing these helpful insights. It's very awkward indeed. In case this issue happens again in your "Primary" browser as well as in your fresh install, please file a bug report so we can try to reproduce it and fix it. 🙂
It's possible to add Fullscreen (useful when you want to see something in full screen for a while and then return to the window), backward/forward 5sec (maybe time to the end of the video too) and transparency 50% on pop out video?
My Chrome is Version 70.0.3538.102 (Official Build) (64-bit) and works fine
My Firefox is 63.0.3 (64-bit) and works fine
My Vivaldi has Chrome engine Chrome/71.0.3578.45 Safari/537.36 and does not Full Screen Video streams for NFL, but does work on Youtube.
Suspect a combination of the particular Chrome and the particular video player they use at NFL.
I had the same issue and found the solution on the Mac forum.
Head to this link: chrome://flags/#force-color-profile
Then change the option for "Force Color Profile" (the first choice on the list) to either RGB or scRGB linear to fix the issue. You will have to restart vivaldi before you can test either option. For me I ended up using "scRGB linear" to fix the issue.
The error occurred after a GPU driver update on an HP 15.6 with AMD Ryzen 3 CPU and AMD Radeon Vega 3 GPU, so updating the driver may or may not work.
