Prime Video does not play
-
Hi,
I have seen that there are several other threads about prime video already, but my issue seems to be a bit different. I switched from Opera to Vivaldi only some days ago, and yesterday was the first time I tried watching prime video with it.
First, I was able to watch one episode (The Expanse, S02E01) without issues. However, when trying to load the second episode, I got the errorWe're experiencing a problem playing this video. For assistance, please go to www.primevideo.com/help?nodeId=202099750.
Since then, I have been getting that same error most of the time. I have been experimenting with various extensions and settings, and sometimes I get an episode or movie to start playing, but never reproducably. Also the first episode (the one I had initially watched in Vivaldi) doesn't load anymore. Sometimes I get the message
Your browser does not support High-Definition playback due to content restrictions, please update your browser to get the best Prime Video experience.
in addition.
Does anyone have an idea for more troubleshooting I could do? I would hate to have to switch between browsers.- Vivaldi: 2.6.1566.44 (Stable channel) (32-bit)

@Noiralef hello,
with regards to the HD / high bitrate streams, I think that's answered in other threads.
About the strange error you encountered, have you tried to contact amazon support yet? They may know more about this error than Vivaldi.

Had same problem, couldn't figure out.... Deleted cookies ("Lock" icon to the left of urlfield) - voilá!
(Reason #2: ...seemed that Amazon Prime was having some sort of bad morning also as it was doing the same on all my browsers... (?)
