The problem is that I have to check EACH video (I have several hundreds of them ＼(º □ º l|l)/) before assigning a thumbnail to it. Earlier, Vivaldi was able to create YouTube thumbnails automatically by pressing 'f5' but now this function no longer exists.

@Pesala Thanks for answering, I was hoping that the request went unnoticed back in the day. It seems like a much better solution than using Speed Dial.
But thank you for explaining that alternative, I'll give it a try.

@Kalyori Yes, it needs to made much more obvious like the active tab's thumbnail in the tab cycler.

Some companies do things like that.

Would that suppose to be some kind of an official repository or just a website with user-shared content? With the former, there would be some obvious limitations - with the latter, there would be a high risk of copyright infringement (or similar violations). I don't think we'll ever see any of these, although I wouldn't mind being proven wrong about it...

IMO sharing thumbs is nice but we need some better way to handle it.

About copyright => what it there was an option "if your company wants to store logo in our repository, contact us" / a button to search for logo?

I dunno...

Or maybe just make it possible to download "default" thumbnail for cetrain URL to "local reposiory" by clicking special link?...
