Why change a running system?

I do not need such extra characters for usernames.
And i do not use long usernames. And a I.am.The.Real.Doctor.G would be strange to read.

And why is the ability to use CamelCase in usernames not enough for you?

I really would like to know why users want and need dots in usernames.

There are more important aspects to improve in the Vivaldi core than adding a feature that you will use 2 times a year.

Besides, why do it when there is free software that does it perfectly well.

Get the "native" concept out of your head, it doesn't add anything.

What Vivaldi should do "natively" perfectly is what corresponds to the core of a browser.

So, in years, Vivaldi haven't figured out how to implement basic statistics for blog?! Something which is very relevant and important for such a service. And, it is WordPress, for lord, nothing else, so it could be there already. I guess it is more the lack of will than anything else, as for hurdles.

I too would like this.

In the meantime I am writing my posts offline in markdown, converting them to html fragments using pandoc, then pasting them into the text view of the classic editor. Python and PowerShell both have fairly easy ways to convert markdown to html as well but pandoc provides me a few more options (including doing the opposite by converting html to markdown). I'm just getting started so I've only done this with 1 post so far but it was pretty seamless. It could be a good interim option for those comfortable using command-line tools.

Nunber of these duplicating technologies is already going to dozens. You don 't have a question : how to call ? To do this , there is Skype , Viber , Telegram , Whatsapp ... Is that not enough? You can call through dozens more applications, for example, through mail. Ya.Mail easily organizes the link. Send , call . A little more complicated, but the fact remains. Mail easily opens access to your disk. Fill it in, open it on the phone. Each search engine has file programs, their number is over a hundred.
Android already has built-in file sharing ("Devices around") . It works via Wi-Fi. There are dozens of programs that use the capabilities of FTP, HTTP servers and exchange files via Wi-Fi. Samsung, Apple also have such technology.
Do you also suggest Vivaldi to join this queue ?
