@takaishi97 said in While I use Elastic and Larry...:
You hint that Roundcube webmail might be scrapped as it does not maintain both Larry and Elastic versions of Roundcube Webmail
I never said that. I said the Larry and Classic skins are deprecated or obsolete and no longer maintained so might be removed.
The Elastic skin is the official maintained RoundCube skin.
Just in order to stay true to my signature this is the point in the conversation where I have to state "Folders are evil" thinking that I have contributed something valuable when that is clearly not the case.
@kwh
Hi, the usage of Vivaldi sync addยดs reputation points too, if I remember correctly.
This make sense if you have more devices and want to use Vivaldi on these, Android for example.
Cheers, mib
I used to use Proton Mail, however only less than 1% of my contacts used encrypted exchange. From this reason I prefer Vivaldi webmail as the privacy and security standards are impressive in my opinion. In fact, they give you two options when you sign up for webmail based on your needs, at the link. If you really need full encryption email, that is what the two providers you mentioned specialize.

Hope this helps.

It's unfortunately not possible to customize Vivaldi Webmail's user interface. Larry skin is old, buggy and not responsive to smaller screens. Elastic is the new recommended skin.
By the way, it looks like the interface has adjusted to your screen size and is more compact than the full view. If you maximize your browser window or zoom out, you should see the folders listed between the main menu (Compose, Mail, Contacts, etc) and the list of messages.

The UI of the built-in mail client, Vivaldi Mail, on the other hand is customizable to an extent (reorder sections in the mail panel, edit buttons on the mail toolbars, etc.)
@veronesi Good question. ๐
We are not able to tell you how long.
Depend on how many likes you get in forum fpr your posts, on how many posts you do at Vivaldi Social. And i think Vivaldi Team will not tell how the reputation algorithm works.
Just have patience.
โ Vivaldi Webmail access is now linked to a reputation system.
@Millman
First things first, if you think someone unauthorized has accessed your account, change the password immediately.
Secondly, when you select "Will's address book" and click on the โฎ 3 dots above the list of address books, is an option to delete it available in the menu?
@themike, thanks for the additional information.
I tested and can reproduce the issue. We'll do our best to fix it as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience. ๐
Ok, I've found the said option, it's called "time zone" inside settings>interface (or something like that ๐ ), it was marked as "automatic" so I changed it to the correct zone. Question resolved!! ๐ซถ
Just providing my two cents as a newbie user.
It is not apparent from the email account request page that a new reputation point system for email provisioning is in place. After several head-scratches, I stumbled upon the change in webmail provisioning in the News section.
You might want to put an asterick (*) on https://vivaldi.com/email-signup/ under the Free account box to let users know about the reputation point system.
Just a suggestion from a user new to the Vivaldi experience....
