@Marucins , welcome to the community. Yes, some experience that Vivaldi is certainly not the fastest to boot, but as a rule it is a few milliseconds apart. But this is amply supplemented by its functionality that allows you to handle tasks on the network much faster and more rationally, without having to open third-party applications or extensions, enabling true multi-tasking on the same screen
PS In my signature you'll find a list of Vivaldi links for your Bookmarks, which may be usefull for you π

I really don't remember what made me switch. I probably read an article about Vivaldi on a tech news site and decided to try it out. Haven't looked back since!
I'm using:
* top addressbar above top tabbar */
#header {
padding-top: 26px;
}
.mainbar {
position: fixed;
top: 0px;
padding-left: 40px;
padding-right: 100px;
width: 100%;
z-index: 1 !important;
}
/* brings vivaldi button and win controls to front */
#browser.tabs-top #header {
/* background-color: unset; */
backdrop-filter: unset;
contain: unset;
}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top #main {overflow: visible;}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top .toolbar-mainbar:after {display:none;}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top .UrlBar {position: fixed; top:0px; left: 34px; right: 100px;}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.maximized:not(.tabs-at-edge) .UrlBar {top:7px;}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top .UrlBar, #browser.tabs-top.address-top .UrlBar > div:not(.UrlBar-AddressField):not(.UrlBar-SearchField) {background-color: transparent;}
/* Tabbar Container */
#browser.tabs-top.address-top #tabs-tabbar-container > div {padding-left: 2px;}
/* Sets tabs to fill entire bar */
#tabs-tabbar-container.top {
margin-left: 0px !important;
margin-right: -90px !important;
}
/* bookmark bar enabled */
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.bookmark-bar-top #header {padding-top:65px;}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.bookmark-bar-top .bookmark-bar {position: fixed; top:34px; left:0; right:0;}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.bookmark-bar-top.maximized:not(.tabs-at-edge) .bookmark-bar {top:41px;}
/* horizontal menu enabled */
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.horizontal-menu #header {padding-top:38px !important;}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.horizontal-menu .topmenu {transform: translateY(-38px); margin-bottom:0; color: var(--colorFg);} /* remove color for unify tabbar & addressbar color palette */
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.horizontal-menu #titlebar {height: 58px !important; z-index:-1;} /* set 0 height for unify tabbar & addressbar color palette */
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.horizontal-menu .UrlBar {top: 24px !important; left: 0; right: 0;}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.horizontal-menu #tabs-tabbar-container {padding-top: 0;}
/* bookmark bar & horizontal menu enabled */
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.horizontal-menu.bookmark-bar-top #header {padding-top: 65px !important;}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.horizontal-menu.bookmark-bar-top .topmenu {transform: translateY(-65px);}
#browser.tabs-top.address-top.horizontal-menu.bookmark-bar-top .bookmark-bar {top: 58px !important;}
which worked well enough for me. But I think Vivaldi updated while I've been sick and in hospital recently, because now some of the positioning isn't quite right - a gap at the top of the tab bar, and the V icon is too low as well. I haven't had the chance to try tweaking to account for that.
It currently looks like this

@Eggcorn Yeah. My last device with Android 5 installed is 9 years old. My current device is Android 12. Possibly my favorite android phone ever so far was released in Jun 2015, but I had to let it go when the bank where I have to do my mobile deposits updated their app and Andoid 7 would no longer run it. And 7 was the last update it could get.
@Catweazle As someone who on a regular basis goes through the privacy settings for Google, I can verify that withdrawing your consent is like trying to navigate a labyrinth. It's a complete mess, settings hidden multiple layers down.
They use dark patterns on purpose to confuse users and make them miss settings or just give up trying to go through it all to stop data collection.
Here is the Norwegian Consumer Council's complaint against Google:

Google is registered in the EU in Ireland, and the Irish legal system simply is not set up to handle the huge masses of privacy complaints against the company, leading to cases being just delayed for years and years.
"Also in 2018, the Consumer Council sent a complaint about Google, at that time primarily about Google's use of location data. The complaint ended up with the Irish Data Protection Authority, where it is still being processed."
