Dear vivaldi support,

Selecting anything in url bar shows the stock context menu, selecting anything on a website, does not. That makes no sense! Any other android app shows the stock context menu, vivaldi does not.

Pardon, that's annoying!

Swiping the address bar after updating to Vivaldi 7.2 opens up tab switcher even when setting is disabled.

I saw this Yesterday several times, I heard Vivaldi Social and the forum was on heavy load so guess the servers was too.
This is not really an error, the forum software check the connection.
If it is disrupted or timed out this message appears.

I have noticed this previously as well.

Simply use different app (i.e. Shortcut Maker) to create such shortcuts.

It has many other advantages doing it this way anyway.

@mib2berlin Thank you for your time and your help. I just can't find the solution, I can't manage to set Swisscows as the search engine. I have never lost so much time in the last decades to solve the problem of setting a search engine. It takes a minute at most.
I have seen that there are more threads that have exactly the same problems as me:

Unfortunately all without a solution.
I give up, I switch to Qwant, it works out of the box on my Linux laptop and on my GrapheneOS.

It use a different render engine, all Chromium browsers I tested cant scroll on this page.
No idea if one can report such issues to Wikipedia. 😕

@jane-n Yes, thanks. I thought of that roundabout option, but unfortunately there is no pathway. I have been using the quick share, I think it's called, function, and also omitting some tabs from the process, but it's still laborious. I may populate the new browser instance simply by accretion over time.
