Did this ever get reported as a bug / fixed? It seems to have reappeared lately.

I'm using 7.0.3505.87 on an arm64 chromebook (in the Android container) - which was working great until a few versions ago (6.x ish?) and now has two issues.. This thing with the font:

That's a 13in screen, the font is HUGE, settings:

Its in "desktop site always" mode as well, which used to sort this out and no longer does.. If I load this page, I notice that the font loads those first 2 paragraphs with the same size font, then flickers and changes the font size in the 2nd one (only) .. very odd

Bonus issue: Scrolling the page will make it go entirely blank for a bit - it doesn't like any pages containing videos now (for me) - if I scroll enough I get past the video and the text displays again (huge)

Any ideas or should I report a new bug?

I love Vivaldi on Chromebook/Linux in Desktop form!

If a tab with vivaldi://sync-internals is open at start Vivaldi crash opening the settings.
This is a known and reported bug, this has not high priority as regular user never use it.

@mib3berlin I keep seeing this even though I have it disabled. Sometimes it seems like it's preventing the android native password suggestion (bitwarden in my case) to show up

edit: turns out it's not the password manager, it's the "address suggestion" showing saved emails, but it uses the same interface as the password manager, it even has the "key" button to show saved passwords. this is confusing.

anyway disabling "Save and suggest addresses" seems to fix it

I think Vivaldi is not currently available on Android TV, but I know you can cast the content of websites to your TV using Chromecast https://help.vivaldi.com/desktop/media/cast-to-device/

I checked and can confirm an issue with search on Android and iOS that looks similar to what you're describing, but different from the original report. The dev team will look into it.

In the meantime, you can check the address field before tapping Enter. If there's a globe icon, it'll take you directly to the website. If there's a search engine icon, you'll get search results.
If you see a globe icon when you want to do a search, in the drop-down menu tap on the suggestion that has a magnifying glass icon in front of it.

You can make a feature request but I fear I would not get much attention.
You are the first user report this in the forum ever and I read all posts in the Android section.
I don't want to discourage you but the chances of this being implemented are not good.
This one from 2019 had 5 user votes.

Small update:
On first device when I turn off sync all tab stacks disappear, and when I turn it on - they all reappear.
On second device after turning off sync only tab stacks that originated from first device disappear. After turning it on - all tab stacks are back.
