Firstly, thanks to "Trigger getUpdates", another Yandex button has appeared in the mobile version, but it is still outdated. The icon was updated only after the replacement "yandex.ru" to "ya.ru ".

Secondly, Vivaldi on Android has pre-installed search engines, which for some reason do not sync with the desktop version, so it is impossible to delete them (for example, go.mail.ru ). The solution turned out to be to manually add the same engines in the desktop version (after forced synchronization in the desktop Vivaldi, these engines were duplicated), and then delete them and their duplicates. It looks like a bug, this shouldn't happen

Hi @Aaron What I want is that I can make a quick search with just one click like it is possible with the widget. If I make a shortcut just for the search engines website, I have to make a second click to select the address bar.

An alternative would be. Vivaldi already has a "new tab" shortcut and the setting "focus address bar when opening a new tab". Unfortunately the feature "focus address bar when opening a new tab" doesn't work when I use the "new tab" shortcut.
It currently just works when I open a new tab in Vivaldi itself.

If the "focus address bar when opening a new tab" would work with the "new tab" shortcut, then the search shortcut wouldn't be necessary.

Hi, I am sorry to say this but you got not any user votes for your request in two month.
Developer check the feature requests but they never comment.
This would not be implemented any time soon, I fear.

Also I think the user base of Vivaldi is quite keen on privacy, tracking and customization so adding custom search engines seems like a no-brainer to me.
