There’s a trash icon to the left of the minimize button where you can restore it, but I recommend using a shortcut instead. For example, if I close a page with Ctrl+W, I use Ctrl+E to restore the last closed page.
@sdtbluethink I already sent a report to bug tracker to get the contrast issue fixed for better usability.

Hi, why to you ask for a button in the task manager but tag PANELS, for example.
You can add a button for Cast yourself anywhere in the Vivaldi UI but not in the task manager.
@jfarque good suggestion, it's a bit like the indicator for web notifications! This gets my vote.
My habit is to always have the mail panels open. The screen width is always enough for webpages, so the panel allows me to keep an eye on all filters at all times
