I'm new to Vivaldi and have just noticed that point 1) is configurable. Solved on my side.

Number 2) is just a suggestion - not something too important. I noticed that sliding left and right in Vivaldi in the tabs view mode has other behaviors different from what I was used in Safari but I just get used to the "x" to close tabs.

Number 3) is different from what you've mentioned. At first I thought it was that the same, but no. When using Vivaldi iOS, by sliding up and down in any webpage, the address bar either appears/disappears. That animation is the one that is laggy.

My best bit of advice for new users of any software.

If it doesn't work the way you expect, don't quit and say it's broken; reach out, research and learn.

@Hadden89 Thank you for your concise, clear reply. Thanks also for the link to the long thread on this topic, a lot of which is over my head. People have been asking for this import function for several years and Vivaldi has not delivered.

I spent ten to fifteen minutes searching Vivaldi Help from my iPad for information about this issue. Anytime I included iPad in the search terms I got zero hits. If I removed iPad from the search terms I got tons of hits for items having nothing to do with the problem I was asking about. I finally searched the single terms iPadOS (zero hits) and iPad (12 hits).

I concluded that either no one is using Vivaldi on an iPad or no one who is using it has any questions.

I'll settle for Safari for my limited purposes on the iPad. It's worked well enough for 7 years and works much much better on my new iPad Pro.

@gabrielmetzger Unfortunately, trackpad right-click support has yet to be added to Vivaldi on iPadOS. Currently, you’ll need to click and hold, which causes inconvenience.

I’ve created a feature request, so hopefully, it’ll be added to the browser soon.

There are a number of different causes for this error code, at least in desktop versions (IOS is using the IOS/Safari SSL/TLS stack), but they are all essentially caused by the server:

Client certificate "Access denied" ; unlikely since the management of such certificates is a Usability Nightmare (TM). However this is one reason documented in the Chromium IOS code, too.

It can mean that an unspecified error happened during the connection setup: this can be using the wrong protocol version, calculating the wrong key values, etc. This could be one server in a set of mirror sites being broken.

Bottom line: This is the site's problem. They have to fix it.
