It looks like Cent Browser has a default setting of "Ads are blocked on sites known to show intrusive or misleading ads".
I've always felt that the uBlock Origin extension is much better than any browser's ad blocking feature.

@barbudo2005 I just installed Floorp, and added key Firefox extensions which I will get to, but as regards your comment, for me , Vivaldi supplements Firefox portable, which I overall find to be is better.

Especially if one opens a lot tabs and to be able to obtain multiple tab rows, as with Vivaldi (hack).

Without the latter I would be not be using Vivaldi and would use Firefox ESR 52.9 for forums and research, etc. aside from commerce. But Vivaldi works better on some sites.

In that interest I run many installations of Firefox Portable (from a SSD partition), each for its own general purpose, and added Floorp to the mix.

All running concurrently, thank God for helps.

I found that Firefox extensions work in Floorp, as does the Izheil Multi-row tabs and other functions installer though it protests against a non-standard profile. [Edit: I found that Floorp enables MTR by default!: paste about:preferences#design in the address bar]

Of course, there are a few developer preferences that require about:config to "fix," such as always opening search results (from address or search bar) in new tab and open new ones at the end of the tab bar.

I am honestly enjoying using copilot in Bing. The suggestions it brings forward when I need to use it for some productivity are pretty great.

Hopefully this expands for users outside of the EU.

I use a script to force the use of HD if it is available because I found that Google was forcing YouTube to default to the lowest possible resolution (and this was with all five browsers). If HD is not available, the extension will choose the highest resolution that is available.

@Pesala Vivaldi masquerades as chrome though not firefox so how does that matter?

@neonix1, well, but change nothing in the risk to go online with an obsolete OS without security support. It's way better to install a current Linux distro, as OS or in dual boot with Windows XP and use the Windows local, going online with Linux, where you can use better and current browsers.
Since 2005, the most PC support 64 bits, even when the software and OS in this years are distributed in 32 bits. It is recommended to check it on your system.

Google search has 90% market share. It's highly likely that most Vivaldi users shun Google Search but that's irrelevant given Vivaldi's tiny market share.

Because Google's web index is way bigger than everyone else's, e.g., 3x Microsoft's at the time of writing of that article, the other major browsers also use Google's blacklist. So if your site is blacklisted you will get that scary notice.

If you already know the site is safe you can ignore it, but most people looking for it are going to be deterred. So it is essentially a business destroyer, if Google decides you are a bad 'un.

Of course, if you're one of the 90% globally using Google Search it won't appear at all.

yeah there's a lot of anti competition going on at microsoft windows 10 and 11 i believe are that way they need to stop it and now before its too late

Old Opera (Presto) could do that, but few people used it that way. You could have small windows for each tab, and resize and arrange them independently - or tile or cascade then, or of course maximize them to take up the entire work area, as browsers do today. Mind you, screens back then were taller than they are now if less wide, and these days vertical space is more of a premium unless you have at least a 1080p monitor. (4K is 2160p, but that's more on gaming machines.)
