my drivers are up to date i disabled hardware acceleration and same thing happens

its weird because it only happened on that website so far , 0 issues on other webs or anything.

i can live with it , but was wondering wth was going on. Since the web was fine before reinstalling windows.

There is no problem with Vivaldi. I only saying that Chrome has copied the panel.

Vivaldi certainly isn't getting all of these benefits even though we are using the same rendering engine, though snapshot is at 98 not 100. Does anyone know if Vivaldi can benefit from the same ThinLTO changes for building its binaries?

Although there are no problems with Vivaldi, don't forget that UA sniffing and useless webmastering abound on the web. In any case, it seems that Google & Co. with their tracking techniques have shot themselves in the foot with this.

I'll give you my opinion from my average user point of view.

I used Firefox for a few years in its early days - including Firefox OS - and what I liked the most was that it had support for different languages (including Spanish), was absolutely fast and was compatible with most of the things I was interested in.

However, as you say, over time more browsers appeared that offered more and had better policies - messages with which I felt identified.

In the end, more than the speed and what it offers you, it makes you feel better when in its blogs, its community, you find a sense of belonging, and that's what I got years later when I met Vivaldi. - Besides functionalities that nobody else offered me and I didn't know I needed, like the panel and the double floor tabs.

@OP Two years ago I still had to rely on abandonware M2 Professional. But being professional is easy nowadays.

AFAIK Vivaldi team doesn't like to copyright their software pattern/invention because they believe such selfish behavior will stifle innovation in the long run.

And that's why MS love to snip ideas & features from Vivaldi ever since they drop IE for Edgy. And that's why I made this topic cuz I know Edge dev will see this topic when they snipping for more ideas from this forum in the future. LOL

You would think a 64-bit process would just keep going until all memory and page file are filled, but apparently around 6-7GB it just suspends and then crashes. Maybe the OS intervenes at some point.

I also run PuTTY and MinTTY on a daily basis, but apparently it's been fixed in the versions I have so that's good.
