I'm glad you shared these articles as your experience at Vivaldi. For us, the community, it is very important to know that not only do we feel comfortable from the outside, but that the same environment is shared within the company. Congratulations on your experience and many successes in your future!
@saduran It's a setting in Themes. Not sure if it's available in Stable yet.
Yeah - Snapshot has the setting, but Stable does not yet. When Snapshot graduates to Stable (shouldn't be long, now) then Stable will have it as well.
@barbudo2005 So uncheck it, close Vivaldi, make sure to kill /opt/vivaldi/vivaldi-bin, and re-open Vivaldi. It runs at ~30% less CPU usage for me. Idk why but that background process was eating up so much CPU when Vivaldi was open.
@atlas Because True Alphabetical Sorting of Bookmarks is just one of nearly 4,000 feature requests.
With 3,906 feature requests, and a small team, those needed by few users or difficult to implement may have to wait for a long time. Wherever you see that a feature is tagged as In Progress, it may get done this year rather than next.

Some IMO interesting info that probably won't be happy reading for privacy+security-minded Vivaldians, but is nevertheless pretty important.
I've read various thoughts on this topic before, in various places over the interwebz, but this one seems pretty important given it's from @gorhill himself:
uBlock Origin works best on Firefox
This document explains why uBO works best in Firefox.
It discusses these criteria for which uBO+Firefox is better than uBO+Chromia:
@KastenTop That was not my experience with gecko browsers.
There are several reasons why chromium renders pages faster although the speed is negligable.
Both chromium and firefox share the webextension api so one does not have more than the other.
Firefox has far more granular control than chromium.
Chromium uses prefetching and heavy caching to give the speed illusion.
@Gwen-Dragon Hrm... maybe the issue is just specific to Android 11. It doesn't happen with other Chromium browsers like Edge, Brave, Opera or... of course... Chrome. I hope this information is helpful to the developers.
@Gomizilla Been on board non-stop from 28 Jan 2015 to the present. There has been no particular overnight change that simply "fixed" Vivaldi. Rather, the developers have steadily been addressing one issue after another, and it has steadily improved, week over week.
