Chrome 101 ships with controversial advertising system trials

Controversial trials for advertising APIs begin
Two features that may be of interest to many Chrome users are not listed on the page. It is possible that these are not listed because they are run as trials in the browser. So-called Origin Trials introduce features in Chrome to a subset of users, often to give developers access to these features to implement and test services.
The two features, Topics API and First "Locally-Executed Decision over Groups" Experiment (FLEDGE), are run as Origin Trials in Chrome 101 to 104 on the desktop.
Google dropped FLoC in early 2022 and announced that it would use Topics instead for its future cookie-less advertising system. Topics runs locally in the web browser. The API uses algorithms to determine topics of interest based on the user's browsing history. The interests are stored locally in the browser for three weeks. When a user visits a site, three of the interests are revealed to the site in question and its advertising partners.
FLEDGE, First "Locally-Executed Decision over Groups" Experiment, is the second advertising technique that Google trials in Chrome versions 101 to 104. The technique moves "the interest data and the final ad decision" to the local browser. Google hopes that the technique addresses core privacy concerns while giving advertisers enough data to display advertisement that is potentially of interest to users.
Topics and FLEDGE are not without criticism either. Both do not address the issue with the selection of sensitive topics. A Microsoft Edge developer published a short script in mid-2021 that could be used for cross-site tracking with FLEDGE.

Will this function be available on Vivaldi Android? I have exactly the issues mentioned in the article but rare mobile browsers have this functionally.
@jph1 said in How to manage passwords in Vivaldi:
Vivaldi doesn't have a phone or tablet browser
Vivaldi Android Browser can be installed on any Android phone or tablet with Android 6 or newer.
@joccol That's because it's a pay-for Chrome service. Vivaldi can't pay for it.
Still, the developers of Vivaldi, back in the day when they were building the original versions of Opera, did come up with their own voice solutions. It could happen again.
Having good eye-vision I wanted to add something that will give you a more pleasant peace - of - mind when using your awesome Vivaldi browser:
Settings-> Appearance side tab-> User interface zoom: 110%. Try it. It's easier to focus on each character and you will feel more at ease during your work day or gaming day.
My Moto G5S (European XT1794) was the first Android phone not from Samsung. I bought it in December 2017 to replace Samsung Galaxy S2 that already had severly worn main battery and clock battery (yep, it has one!). And I really want to get BlackBerry KEY2 or its successor if one will come, because before I got my hands on Android, I used Nokia Asha 200, the QWERTY keyboarded phone!
I love tab tiling. I'm hoping there's a chance that, when using vertical tiling, it would be possible have a virtual width of greater than the window and then allow for left/right scrolling.
This would allow the ability to tile more than the width of the window thus creating a situation where, for example, two tiles are fully visible while a third is partially visible with the part that's visible exposing an important column of data.
What's the difference between Hibernating Tabs and what Auto Discard does(saves CPU and RAM)?.
Scrolling Tabs i had it in CSS for at least a year but glad it's now native and looks and behaves better.
@janrif , not longer use this search.disconnect, me, it's not trustworth because of some ugly telemetries to Amazon.
Most I use now are Andi and Whoogle
