@razor79 It was implemented a while ago. Go to: vivaldi://settings/tabs/ and under "TAB FEATURES" check "Switch Tabs by Scrolling" to switch tabs using RMB+scroll. You can also check "Show Tab Cycler" to see which tab you're switching to.

@Rafale: When you go to vivaldi://flags and search "gpu raster" you will see where you can turn off GPU rasterization of web content. It's just shot in the dark to see if your system is failing to render web content with the GPU and the falling back to software rendering when you reload.

SOLVED.
Never had to do this before, but after editing the shortcuts and adding a nickname to them, now it works.

The Contrast Adjustment setting in Settings -> Appearance is supposed to affect only the UI elements, not web pages, right?

I can confirm this bug, but it only seems to happen if I start searching while the page is being loaded. (And I'm on Linux so this isn't specific to Windows.)

Another example which has already happened is that Vivaldi can not run in Windows XP any more...

Unfortunately, that seems to be something which is too "built-in" to Chromium to fix.

I am not sure if I understood your post correctly.
The music started playing after a reboot even though vivaldi was not started again? Or did vivaldi was still open or does it autostart?

also had this happen on Netflix as well. but i found opening up a new window and playing the video in it works and doesn't crash the browser 100%

I too have this (for me, non existant) "problem" with many others programs that when started, desktop icons refresh at least once a day. It's been years it's like this, not just Vivaldi does it, so I learnt to ignore it as most of the times I've already another program in fullscreen covering the whole screen anyway 🙂

I don't use linux at the moment, but I still have a mint VM in which I can use that command or maybe even the ubuntu-on-windows (useless for me, but I wanted to try it lol) to decode the thing 😉

Deactivating hardware acceleration finally DID THE TRICK! Videos are working -I've tried to play same videos with acceleration turned off and on, and every single video that was displayed as blury "something" before is now playing perfectly, also no issues when enlarged.
It seems that blank tabs are gone too. I can't 100% confirm, because as I said before - this was very random, but I've tried to click on a lot (like really a lot) links and again - there was any single blank tab amongst them. Also clicking on "Community" on main Vivaldi page would gave me blank tab in 9 cases out of 10, now it's always opened and displayed.

That thing with GPU is indeed weird. As far as I remember, I had only one major issue with GPU since I have this notebook (2013) and it was with game The Witcher 1. There was some kind of launcher testing HW before game was actually launched and it kept saying that I have only Intel HD and it's not enough for a game so I had to modify .exe with some parameter that allowed to skip that test and launch the game, however it forced me lowest possible texture resolution, even if the game clearly started using Radeon once launched.

If whole thing with blank tabs and videos is caused by drivers I guess I can hardly except that AMD is going to fix it, because last driver on Radeon HD7650M is from 2015 (both on AMD and HP websites).

Anyway, thank you a lot for your help and keep doing great job. Looking forward to future releases.

@GAJ - It could be related to where and how you have installed Vivaldi - if user access to the directory is not normal for your profile.

For me also it is installed on the same locating you mentioned c:\Program Files\Vivaldi.

Even if I create a folder for Vivaldi_Snapshot in Program Files for the snapshot versions it has issues in creating folder for user data.

It was a tough challenge long time ago when that feature came first time to Opera, if I remember that right. But perhaps times have changed and it is easier to achieve today... we will see 🙂
