Chrome on iOS is till based on webkit and so is Vivaldi. Neither of them have confirmed that they have changed the browser engine as far as i’m concerned . And checking it on https://whatmyuseragent.com/

Chrome and Vivaldi reports the engine as ”webkit” on iOS, wheras on android it reports as Blink.

It is removed. And it should not be in a secondary menu. You can't apply desktop logic to mobile browsers.

On mobile the share function is like adding a new tab. That's why adding a tab works in one action.

The devs/ux/ue crew need to apply mobile userflows

Catching up with the feature set that Vivaldi on Android has accumulated since its release a few years ago will take some time on iOS, which saw the daylight just little over half a year ago.
We aim to bring Tab Stacks to iOS as well, but it won't happen in the next release.

@Tenephoric so answering my own question... they apparently are un-labeled "suggestions" placed there by some secret algorithm. You can remove them by long pressing on them.

It would be much more convenient if the speed dial links were put there, as it would save time. Currently to access speed dial from a non-new tab, you have to open the side bar, resize it taller, navigate to your speed dial folder, then scroll for the link you want.

@Univer0325 they could implament it as optional in settings.

I experienced the same issue when I initially enabled the ad blocker and added additional filter lists.

However, I don't face the issue where Vivaldi re-applies adblocker settings and gets stuck in 'Applying adblocker settings' every time Vivaldi closes out from memory.

If you wait until the 'Applying adblocker settings' has been settled and only shows “Blocking ads and trackers". It should not show 'Applying adblocker settings' everytime when Vivaldi closes from the memory.

Vivaldi Translate is not available in Vivaldi on iOS yet, but we hope to implement it in the future. Please show your support for the feature request by upvoting 👍 the first post on https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/89641/enable-full-website-translation.

@harbenm this is also the case for Firefox and brave. They only show the search terms and not the whole query. I would suggest you add this as a feature request in the feature requests thread.
