My iPhone 13 does reasonably good, when I use Vivaldi. But my 2017 iPad gets hot as to bake pan cake on it.
If I don't want to tinker with adblock lists and simply want to use the standard and default ones, is there any other thing I could do?

Starting with the basics, have you logged in to the same Vivaldi account on all devices you want to Sync and is the syncing status active/done? Secondly, in case you only sync some data not all, double check that bookmark syncing is enabled.

If it's the first sync on a device and you have a lot of bookmarks and other data to sync, it can take some time for the bookmarks to appear.

We've been testing it, but so far have not been able to reproduce the issue. So, we have more questions.

What's the model of your iPhone?

When you close the app from the app switcher and don't just leave it open in the background, is the history lost then as well? If it is, perhaps you can grab a screen recording of the bug, showing the history before closing the app and when reopening Vivaldi. Create a ticket and attach the video on https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/.

I DO have Sessions backup set - I have ALL my workspaces, just no content!

Can anyone say where Sessions are stored on a Mac so I can restore from TimeMachine.

Apple Store did offer me an older version so I took it. Seemed to work OK until it crashed after Sync.
Have not had time to try further and phone battery is dead.
I will look at it further tonite.

I solved it by changing this setting in "vivaldi://flags".

Search for "scroll" and enable "Disable fullscreen scrolling".

One of our goals is to have feature parity between Android and iOS, and adding an option to quickly switch between light and dark mode on a specific site is on our to-do list.

I know its none of my business but 13" iPad? Wasnt better to buy 13" MacBook?
