Looks like your blog has already been created.

Visit https://borisbauer.vivaldi.net/ to see it. There (while logged in to your account) click on the blog's title on the black menu bar to get to your blog's dashboard.

Also, when you select "My blog" from the menu on Vivaldi.net, you should be taken to your blog now, instead of the blog creation page.

Visibility is checked. Bing indexes well. I think the cause should be found in the new way that Google indexes sites. Take a look this page: https://www.vincentschmalbach.com/google-now-defaults-to-not-indexing-your-content/

I have noticed a rapid uptick in spam comments as well lately. I think maybe akismet just needs time to "learn" whatever new kind of spam is being sent. It seems to have slowed down now.

I see on my own server that Singapore visitors are mostly vulnerability scans, spammers, Baidu bot, AI bots.

Happened to mine. 63 of them, waiting my "approval". Yeah. Right! (A Kiwi way of saying No Bloody F**ing Way!)
All marked and reported spam. Out of sight but still in my blog spam folder.

Ah well. Now I'm back blogging, I have to get used to doing this from now on.

@Chas4 I totally agree. Also wonder how auto-flagging works for comment spams.

@luetage While setting to allow only approved comments to appear, you'll still have to do manual approval/spam-reporting in your own time. (Or getting Askimet Akismet account, which I'm not sure if I want to do)

@seanbala, for question 2, Vivaldi blog has an export tool and it will export the blog as an XML file in WXR format. You can then import the blog to other blogging platfrom that recognize WXR format.
