Yes, this is possible by using Chrome Custom Tabs (CCT). Vivaldi for Automotive fully supports CCT, and several apps for AAOS use this approach for login already.

@stardepp, I think there will be more in the future, even if it is due to the lack of alternative valid browsers for cars, even Musk confessed that the one in Tesla is crap.

@dslam10 A quick test you can do is to check IP, but especially the country you get.

If polestar Canada is using AT&T US servers is likely expected to encounter Geo Blocks.

Even if vivaldi would be able to spoof the location with Canada, still the IP could scream USA.

Also, any browser works this way, so the tech support reply is quite misleading.

Tl;Dr: To be identified as canadian, you should get a canada IP from polestar/at&t.
GPS still can give you the exact point of where you are in canada, but won't help for geoblocks.

Have we got anywhere with this one? Using the Vivaldi browser on my Android tablet or Windows laptop, I can log in to Netflix (Canada), Roger Ignite TV (Canada) and CBC Gem (Canada). I can stream any show I choose. However, when I use Vivaldi browser in my 2023 Polestar 2, I can see the main screens and browse shows, even see previews. But when I try to stream the show, I always get some sort of error code. Is the Polestar, the Vivaldi browser or the website that can't display. Who do I chase to resolve this?

Same for me, though started somewhat later. One suggestion here was to rename the default (profile) folder, so a new would be created. That didn't work for me.

I then downloaded the latest version and installed (it asked if I wanted to 'update', though it was latest version). Didn't work either.

Occasionally, it worked for me to launch in private mode and then open the normal Vivaldi, but not everytime.

Unless anyone has a better idea, I guess I'll have to uninstall completely and start from scratch...
