@matiasmovie Since it is a request for an option I have moved the thread to Settings.
I don't understand this request.
Shift + Click selects a range of tabs
Ctrl + Click selects or deselects a single tab.
If Reorder Tab Stacks by Dragging Thumbnails was implemented this problem would be less of an issue.
One can already easily select tabs in a stack by clicking the thumbnails, and drag a tab out of a stack using the thumbnail, but we cannot yet reorder tabs in a stack using the thumbnail previews.
@wailord It would be nice to have Copy Address on the Tab Context Menu for Tabs and Tab stacks. For now, it is easy to do what you want from the Window Panel.
Open the Window Panel
Select the tabs in the tab stack (or any tabs)
Right-click "Copy Address"
@lonm Yes. In Serif PagePlus I can hold down the Ctrl key to make multiple selections with double-click to select words, or click+drag in either direction to add phrases to the selection while keeping the Ctrl key held down.
Then I can click the toolbar icon to italicise the text.
On a web page, one could use this method to copy selected paragraphs from an article. Triple-click selects a paragraph.
@Pesala thanks for your help, problem solved.
hope this is the default option be checked. 🙂
or implement same as chrome,
when something selected, print selected
when nothing selected, print whole page.
Guilimote - thank you for those hints, but it's still not as good as a single click and then selecting in either direction with the keyboard. For one thing, using the shift key without CTRL or Home doesn't work in the leftward direction, only the rightward.
I've just discovered Search from Popup or ContextMenu and tested on vivaldi and it runs well.
Surely the best I use :
-read and open text as html link
-open in new foreground /background tab or popup (try this last one it's a good way to browse) only changing mouse click at the moment according how you feel at this time
-when customized, this is fully colored and happy one
it's nearly a mouse-centered-use all-in-one extension ! Try it!
manually and guided extension installation (it's simple)
I would open another thread but I checked this one for it:
Selected tabs in windows manager saved as session
It seems silly but the context menu for Windows Manager and Tab Bar are different, I mean, doesn't have all the options, then..
@rotfl said in Save Selected Tabs as a Session:
I would also like option to save these tabs as session and close / remove them from current window. It could drastically improve my workflow
Really this would make us saving our time
@mubaidr said in Selection Popup (Like Opera 15+):
I have also added custom styling option. Now you can customize the styles and looks of popup using just CSS. 👍🏽
It seems that after the last update (1.6.3) 'Open Tabs in Background' option is broken. Thanks for the extension, though!
