@Darthagnon Good 🙂
Yes, the top and bottom controls positioning of elements and is not a way to create borders.
z-index controls layering of elements, if you want overlapping.
Once you start moving the #main element it could potentially show whatever is behind it, for instance on the bottom edge.
Glad you fixed it 👍
@dude99 I only have LastPass and one other extension. Tried without them already and maybe a second difference. Created a 2nd profile and that took 22 seconds to load.
So possibly a profile refresh which I have done before and was hoping to avoid.
Appreciate the suggestions @dude99 !!
Regarding the shortcut closing the window again:
This kind of thing is tricky to nail down. Right now, undocked dev tools behave the same way as they did in classic opera: I.e. the shortcut opens them, and if you press it again it closes them.
However you are correct that chrome keeps them open always, and this is what firefox does as well. Perhaps the "classic opera" behaviour is outdated, and it definitely makes more sense to me to have it re-focus the window like chrome does.
Perhaps you could write your opinion on this feature request: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/31676/hotkey-to-focus-developer-tools/
Regarding showing the title in undocked dev tools: I think this should definitely happen. You could make a new (separate) feature request for that, as I don't think one exists already.
I tried this solution, the flag is active, but no import available.
When I go to vivaldi://settings/passwords/ I get to the first settings screen and in the passwords page, it doesn't appear either.
Alle users are imported but the passwords are empty, when I make the password field readable it appears to be empty
I'm on 3.0.1874.38 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
I restarted already several times. Even tried the shortcut solution.
Please help me get my passwords back, it's pretty useless otherwise.
I was able to find the settings page by going to chrome:// rather than vivaldi://
There I have the improt function now. But... Nothing happens when I import and they are also empty
UPDATE: it worked, but now it's all double :D, the empty and the filled ones 😃
and ctrl+shift+del > delete passwords doesn't affect...
