@mib2berlin I think that's a different thing, though I can't be sure... that's Keep syncing/reloading your notes, and is, as far as I know, not dependent on Vivaldi. At least I think so 😛

If I switch tabs, close and reopen the panel, the BW panel still shows me the same outputs as for the Vivaldi Forums site:

This is still a problem. To keep up with any running conversation on Facebook I have to continually use shift-refresh to actually get the contents.

I dont want contents Vivaldi thinks make up the webpage. I've got a 400MB connection at home. Get what actually makes up the webpage.
Cache the images and do a binary or date check, whatever. But I should have an option to turn off "content cache" so I actually get the page I load.

This just makes unnecessary click work to users to get around a shortcoming of design. Please fix.

Regarding the shortcut closing the window again:

This kind of thing is tricky to nail down. Right now, undocked dev tools behave the same way as they did in classic opera: I.e. the shortcut opens them, and if you press it again it closes them.

However you are correct that chrome keeps them open always, and this is what firefox does as well. Perhaps the "classic opera" behaviour is outdated, and it definitely makes more sense to me to have it re-focus the window like chrome does.

Regarding showing the title in undocked dev tools: I think this should definitely happen. You could make a new (separate) feature request for that, as I don't think one exists already.

I am getting this same problem (black screen that seems to be running but nothing except a black screen is displayed....which occasionally ends up causing the tab to crash...or even Vivaldi in whole). In case it helps, here is an URL that repeatedly causes the black screen and crash:
