Less bias, more options..Chrome sync

I've been through some of the posts and looking at the "issue" of chrome syncing (what Vivaldi terms as "big brother Google"). The Vivaldi opinion is EXTREMELY BIASED.
I don't give a crap about your one-sided "view" of Google and Chrome sync and how it's watching your every move. I LIKE IT. I could go on about the things I see as beneficial with their system for my personal situation, but I don't need to because it doesn't matter! What matters is to give people the options to choose when designing such a similar product to chrome as this. The ridiculous responses from the company shows such a serious prejudice. Just put in the option to have either sync and let the users decide.
I have played with your version of "syncing" and I hate it. At the very least the company should write an extension or something. More people would use this product if it had Google sync, but if hate of bigger corporations is a "mission statement" pronounced on the forums in response to obvious improvements, forget it.
Too bad, it works fairly well otherwise.

@maru487 No chromium browser other than Chromium itself allows syncing with a Google account. It's not possible with Brave, it's not possible with Opera and it isn't possible with Vivaldi. Yet you can definitely import data from Chrome, but a "live" sync feature you won't find. What is it you want to sync continuously in the first place? Stuff like bookmarks and passwords can be handled by 3rd party extensions.

What you probably don't understand is that people use Vivaldi exactly to NOT use google products. If you're not ok with that, fine, use whatever does the job for you, nobody is trying to forcedly feed Vivaldi down your throat.

@iAN-CooG This is so hard to respond without shaking my head. Base level cognition statements like "nobody is trying to forcibly feed Vivaldi down your throat" are pointless. No duh.
Obviously if I am moved enough to comment, I am moved enough to realize there is potential in the product.

@luetage That is something that I didn't know, but extends my point and shows the lack of versatility among all of the browsers. Let's all be less creative and jump off the bridge too?
Everyone knows that Chrome is plagued with memory issues and CPU performance. If all of these other companies are creating "better then Chrome" browsers but yet refuse to enhance and encourage the adoption through OPTIONAL integration, then you are losing most who are looking for something better but compatible. Why create barriers to a future audience?? Why create a niche of users because of limited viewpoint based on blatant bias?
Yes I get you can just import and switch, but no I can't. This is just one PC among many that I must attend to and I don't want to install and uninstall Vivaldi every time I want to access tools and information when 90% of the PCs are installed with Chrome. The point is if I could have more flexible options to use Vivaldi I would, and would also recommend it.

@maru487 While I do agree the hate on Google is biased and completely overhyped, I don't know if syncing with a google account from a proprietary 3rd party browser is even possible, speak: does Google allow it? I wouldn't be so sure about it. And I also wouldn't be so sure there is full compatibility concerning implementation. Anyway, no one stops you from requesting this as feature. I don't think Vivaldi is biased against Google. There are very good reasons to be wary of Google's Spying Activities.
