@Ayespy One thing that prompted me to try multiple-profile usage of M3 was the annoyance of seeing "Mail is open in another window"...: But the other advantages (stemming from independent Settings!) are many.
(You've seen Opera's spaces implementation? Well, this takes it up a notch!:)

I still have to keep a profile with an animated gif avatar, to track my system's performance... 🙂 ...and its weird behavior...

@Aaron @lavanyadeepak Email accounts are not synced, as such it is sadly as WildEnte says, and it has to be done manually.

@gmg Thanks for responding. Actually, I was saying the opposite, i.e. wondering if it would make more sense to remove labels when item is moved to trash/spam folders. Now labels stay with item which is by design & it's working as it should be. I see reasons for it and it doesn't bother me at all.

For mail priority, you can add a feature wish in the mail feature wish category https://forum.vivaldi.net/category/194/mail-client - as far as I know this has not been requested before. (Also, I don't see the point ... it should be clear that all my emails are more important than anyone else's 🙂 and who would ever mark an email as low priority?)

Thank you for that. It turned out to be the last thing you mentioned. I had turned off IMAP for the Spam 'label' in Gmail.

This (filters running forever) happened to me too. I triggered it by moving 20k messages from one account to another via Thunderbird (its GUI is intimidating but man, can it do stuff!) while also being connected to those mail accounts through Vivaldi. I managed to stop it be deleting "Storage/ext/mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli", which was not enough, so I bisected my Preferences file and found out (using this: https://jsonformatter.org/json-viewer ) that I needed to remove extensions>settings>mpognobbkildjkofajifpdfhcoklimli (I lost my filters though). I am on 5.2, so maybe my issue is not what was fixed above.

@atlemo will this lead to any translations to be updated, because I don't see any in weblate?

Hi, do you have running AVAST or other AV software?
After an update of Vivaldi I could not add any mail account anymore running AVAST software on a friends PC.
Had to disable it and fine.

@Aaron Get a REAL VPN that operates on the OS-level and pay for it, free VPNs are not recommended for speed and privacy reasons.
