Vivaldi has multiples options for the UI part, the vast possibilities to build up your unique Vivaldi, as you (and Spock) said, fascinate the users.

Home user version is still free to use. And promoting the Windows version is certainly worth doing. As far as I know, adding a program to their available applications costs nothing, their money is made from their paid version, which offers more options than just installation.

@ayespy Laptop, 15 1/2" screen... Perhaps but I don't think it should be the issue. If it were 10" or 11" I could see it.

@Ayespy said it all, it's mostly an opt-in for more messages about Vivaldi so you can get more info about Vivaldi and have more background when others ask you anything.

@pesala Yeah, I thought so too, but it's wrong. The number of community members is equivalent to the number of accounts on vivaldi.com. But not all of them activate their account (log in) to forum.vivaldi.net, that's why there is a discrepancy. You are taking the number from the forum, Vivaldi is taking the number from the main site.

Do you mean about system settings?

I use Window 10 with English as system language, also with Spanish keyboard and - if not with VPN - Spain as location, then could this be related?

Actually, my question is not just "why vivaldi provide a webmail?" but also "why do you choose vivaldi webmail?" I wonder, what webmail do you use before, and why did you drop it? Did you move all your old emails to the new one? Do you need to notify all your contacts that you have changed email address?

This option was already checked, but I clicked site settings> notifications and moved the slider to 'blocked'.
