I get only 518 points on the test here, which is the same as Chrome.
Specs: AMD A10-6800K, 8 Gb on Win 10 64-bit • Snapshot 1.12.955.3 (64-bit)
-
@pesala Omg.
I'm on Windows 10 64-bit too and I'm using 1.12.955.3 (64-bit) also.
And I got itchy 2 GB Ram and old-school Intel Duo 2.0 GhzEdit: Oh it gives 518 as result too sometimes.
-
@claw
Interesting - what triggers the difference between your results? -
@zaibon Well, it's strange for me!
First time it showed 526, now every time I check it's 518! -
@claw This indeed is pretty strange
-
I get 524.
I don't have Chrome, but using
Opera (dev) 49.0.2711.0 I also get 524On Linux Mint 18.2 using Snapshot 1.12.955.3 (Official Build) snapshot (64-bit)
8GB with Nvidia GeForce GT 640; Intel i5 -

I have different results every time I open this test, but always very similar to Chrom (ium) and Opera.
Although logical, I do not think a reliable test -

Exist a test, but required to do it with the default configuration
-
515 (html) and 97/100 (acid) with the whole extensions set.. pretty nice for me
-
@zaibon Hmm
...
Security 29/32
...
Audio 27/30So my security is the big difference - only X is Web Authentication/FIDO 2
-
@catweazle Opera 12.17 still scores 100/100 in the Acid3 test, so Vivaldi did not do so well. This test was invented by Opera.
-
Well, Opera 12 was one of a kind; but I can't tell if it was also faster than Vivaldi.

I've 100/100 with Vivaldi in default configuration, without extensions. Exists other tests, but all off them give similar results in Opera and Chrome (and more than Firefox, Safari o that thing that have Windows)
But it is not the purely technical results that differentiate Vivaldi from others and why I have chosen it as my main browser, but the possibilities and functions it offers, much more than Chrome, even if it is equivalent in speed and other aspects.

I wander why I get 97/100 in the test, with Adblock Plus.
@Pesala Hi again, I have instlled Opera 11.64, because debug-skin is broken in 12.17
