Find in Page as you Type
-
I was sort of surprised that this feature isn't already available. It's a "matter-of-fact" feature, if you grew up (?) on Linux/Unix.
When you press the space bar, the page scrolls down, doesn't it? Pressing "/" to find-in-page is in the same family of features as the space-bar scroll.

Would very much like to see this as well.
-
Anyone also want to have the ability to set it so search terms are auto copied between tabs?

@DoctorM Vote for the first post if you haven't already done so. (Voting again will remove your vote).

Is it just me or does Type-ahead-find not work in the current version of Vivaldi?
-
@DoctorM Your are right: it does not work in the current version. The extension is soon going to be obsolete anyway.
-
@Granite1 So is there another option to do this?
-
@DoctorM As people have pointed out below, use the single key shortcut
.
for "Find in page".I just implemented it myself and love it. In fact, I am going to implement more of these single key shortcuts because it really saves a lot of finger acrobatics, so to speak.

@Granite1 Yeah, that works, but so does Ctrl-F which is pretty fast for me.
Just wish I could start typing without something else first.
