As there is no Vivaldi for mobile anyway I have to use a different browser.
I use Opera and now checked Touch and feels faster than Opera/Mini and one hand concept is interesting.
Who needs a power browser on mobile anyway?
If Vivaldi give me mobile browser with basic functions I change immediately.

@komir Yes. Jon (the founder) has an experimental Android version the developers have built. Not close to release, I fear.

@luetage I know sync will probably be the first to come. I'm still hoping it'll come out by the end of this year, but that could be wrong. Mail will be pretty long, and if we're lucky, could come out next year. Same with Android. I hope mail and Android will be out by the last quarter of next year.

Everyone, including the developers, is with you on this, and it has been an aim of Vivaldi since first release in January of 2015. It will be ready when it's ready.

There are definitely such plans.

It looks as though Android may be the first to get a mobile version. As far as portable, that's not really developed yet, though there are some tricks whereby you can get the standalone version to function pretty much like a portable.

Hmm that thread only talks about Flash (which IMHO is the least of the problems). I hope for a mobile browser with Opera 12 functionality full featured mobile browser which uses a good engine (Chromium) while the closest are Opera Mobile 30/Chrome (very fast, few features) and Firefox/UCbrowser (many features, very slow due to Gecko/U3 engine)….

How do you know an android version of vivaldi is definitely on the to do list? Would you be so kind to give a link to the blog/post where it says an android version is coming definitely? I couldn't find anything.

Jon mentioned it in one of his comments responding to a user on a blog post a couple of months ago. I don't remember which one.
