      I use a lot of pinned tabs but have run into an annoyance. If a pinned tab has audio playing it will display a speaker icon. This speaker icon is around half the size of the already total pinned tab size. So if I want to change to that tab it takes some careful point-n-click and if I fail I just click on the speaker muting that tabs audio.

      I looked for a way to just disable this speaker icon but couldn't find one, at least not under tab settings. I feel maybe there should be one OR just don't display the speaker icon for pinned tabs.

      //MODEDIT: similar requests:

      • Make Tab Sound Icon more Noticeable and less Obstructive
      • Moving the "audio playing" icon off the favicon of the tab

        @krojack If the window is maximised, there is no problem as one can simply click on the very top of the tab, which has infinite height. Make sure that you have enabled this checkbox in Settings, Tabs, Tab Display:

        Remove Tab Spacing in Maximised Windows

        Mute Pinned Tab.png

        If you don't use maximise windows, then I agree that it is difficult to point and click accurately.

        Wider Pinned Tabs might be another solution to this problem.
