Speed dial icons
-
Why when we save a website to speed dial do we simply get a screenshot of the web page instead of the website s icon? Is there any way other than manually taking a screenshot of each website's icon, saving it and then changing it on the speed dial with the little - sign? I've been using Vivaldi for a very long time and I love it, this is my ONLY gripe about this browser but it's a BIG pain in the neck. I've enclosed a screenshot and you can see that the speed dials Vivaldi come with have the predefined icon of the website it represents, but the ones I save (everything after the new game) are the crappy looking whole web page screenshot.

@pam I agree, screenshots are pretty bad for nice-looking thumbnails. At the moment the only thing you can do is save your own collection and use those instead.

I like the screenshots for some things, but for most of my commonly used speed dial icons instead of taking a screenshot to use, I do an image search for the site name plus the word logo. I save a vouch of the relying images that I like into an organized folder tree on my system drive and then use those. I save s buck because some don't fit well and I also like to change them up sometimes.
I recommend using the system drive so 1) their slays accessible, and 2) using something like an external hard drive array or network location will cause delays in loading the Speed Dial as the location is accessed. It's a pain to wait for 5-8 drives spin up.
