Actually, I think it's a good example. That user registered an account using a temporary e-mail service, attacked a few forum members who didn't agree with him (or her), and then left on the same day and never came back (perhaps they don't remember how many "fdfsfds" they put in their e-mail address?) π€
And judging by the contents of that user's (now deleted, but still visible to moderators) replies I don't think that they were angered by the downvotes in particular. IMO the posts that needed to be deleted were deleted.
But whenever you feel that some inappropriate posts have somehow managed to slip through, don't hesitate to report them. It's a good way of bringing attention to an issue that might've been overlooked by one of the mods, and it could be handled by another mod (or even discussed internally).
