Move the "Add Web Panel" button from the sidebar into its context menu.
-
I don't want this button cluttering up my sidebar, it belongs in the context menu with the toggles for the panels.
-
@zook In the context menu it would be a lot less accessible and harder to discover.
If you're running out of space on the Panel Toolbar, vote for Scroll Through Side Panel
-
I'm not running out of space, I just don't like having a button there that I don't use. I like minimal design. Maybe a settings option to remove it then?
-
@zook Configurable Toolbars are a better solution. Too many options in settings is also hard to discover, and makes providing support harder too,
-
@pesala Fair enough, although searchable settings mitigates that somewhat.
-
@zook
Only if you know what to search. This is not an option you would toggle all the time. -
IMHO, the button should stay. Accessibility is important. No need to play hide and seek with features.
-
@para-noid
It could be optional, like the one in the speed dial, but it definitely should be visible by default. -
Button can be hidden with css as custom modification, web panels can still be created by using the context menu item over a webpage.
