This mod has been an excellent substitute for my "Preserve tab history when a link is opened in new tab" feature request as well. It works great, and the multiple tabs bug-fix has been useful in two of my other mods as well. The only change I made was changing contexts: ["all"], to contexts: ["page"], as I don't think it needs to clutter text selection menu or other context menus, just the page menu is sufficient. Other than that, it's been excellent in every way.
Thank you !

@dude99 said in Extensions toggle need a useful Context Menu:
If you are really lazy to build a context menu from scratch, then I suggest an Extensions panel, just stuffed the default Extension manager into a webpanel with description removed, then it will be a decent solution.
I don't think it helps your case to insult the developers by calling them lazy. As you should know by now, there are some 1,900 feature requests, but only a small team of developers who have to focus on bug fixes and repairing code broken by Chromium updates before they can get around to adding/enhancing features.
Were you too lazy to search previous feature requests to find Enabe/Disable Extensions Directly from the Address Bar, or Move Extensions to a Panel, or did you just think that these previous requests do not quite cover what you want?
@hyfrehyfre The original menu is for tabs, so it wouldn't be possible to just "move" it to the context menu. It would be possible to do this via a mod or an extension, I suspect, if you want to ask someone in those sub-forums to help.
Yes, something along this request: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/13217/feature-requests-for-1-7/562 by ProgRocket - for buttons and for context menu. I often download videos with youtube-dl so I would have a menu option "send this url to a newly opened terminal with youtube-dl to download it straight away".
@LonM said in Add Shortcut in Menu:
Or is the request specifically to offer a quick way to change shortcuts on the menu?
Yes, add, change or delete.
Go to file menu > Import Bookmarks > right click > add E + B as shortcut, for example.
May I can grep Blender source for it, UI code is in Python iirc.
EDIT: Oops, 3 million lines of code and I am not a developer. weeping
@TG2 Darn, I thought it would work for you too.
Well, that leaves only one option:
(Pro tip: The steps of the report form section accepts portions of markdown, especially "- " [dash + space] for unsorted lists, makes reading in the bugtracker easier)
